"I was trying to get through the lessons..."
I was trying to get through the lessons, but the query editor just kept slowing me down. Typing felt laggy, the error messages were kind of confusing, and there were times when my code looked totally fine but still wouldn’t run.

Maybe other people have a better experience with it, but for me it was just annoying. I felt like I was spending more time fighting the editor than actually learning SQL

"The lesson order felt kind of scattered"
I felt like the curriculum was a bit all over the place. One minute it’s covering one topic, then suddenly it jumps to something else before the first thing really makes sense. I kept expecting a clear path or some kind of buildup, but it just didn’t feel very organized. Some lessons were useful, sure, but the order made it harder to follow than it needed to be.

"I really didn’t like it. The lessons..."
I really didn’t like it. The lessons were confusing, and the more I used it, the more I felt like it wasn’t as helpful as it claimed to be. Maybe it works for other people, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that it just wasn’t worth my time or money.

"Felt like the SQL explanations were hiding the good stuff"
I came out of this feeling like the instructors didn’t really know how to explain SQL in a way that made sense. The basics were kind of rushed, and once things got more complicated, it felt like they just skimmed over the parts people actually needed help with. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but it almost felt like the real explanations were locked away somewhere and we were just getting the surface-level version. Overall, I was confused and didn’t feel like the lessons helped much when it actually got harder.

"Canceling was harder than it should’ve been"
The weird part is, I thought I had canceled my subscription, but I still ended up getting charged. It’s frustrating because canceling should be straightforward, and now I have to deal with the charge anyway.

"The course felt a bit all over the place"
I tried to give this course a fair shot, but the content just felt uneven to me. Some lessons were so short that I didn’t feel like I had enough time to actually understand the idea before moving on, and then the exercises suddenly got much harder without much explanation in between.
I also ran into a few answers that left me confused, even when I technically got them right, because I still didn’t really understand the reasoning. For what I paid, I expected the course to feel more structured and easier to follow. The site itself isn’t terrible, but the learning material just didn’t click with me.

"Decent idea, but the hints need work"
I liked the concept and was hoping it would be a helpful way to work through the problems. That said, the hints felt vague, and when I checked the solutions, they didn’t really clear things up much. It still has potential, but I think it would be a lot better with more detailed explanations...

"Progress tracking kept messing up for me"
I started using it around late March, or maybe early April, and the progress tracking was frustrating. Lessons I finished would disappear, or it would show that I’d completed ones I hadn’t even done yet. It made it really annoying when I came back later and tried to pick up where I left off. I contacted support, but they didn’t really get it sorted out, so I kind of gave up on relying on it.

"Updates are actually damn good"
The new lessons have been helping a lot. I wasn’t expecting much, but they’re actually useful as hell and make things way easier to follow.

"Some explanations were harder for me to follow"
I tried LearnSQL.com, some of the lessons just didn’t click for me. Compared to a couple of other learning sites I’ve used, the explanations felt a bit less clear and I found myself getting stuck more often. The examples did help a little, but I still had to look things up elsewhere to really understand what was going on.

"A Nice Boost for My Resume"
I personally found this certificate really helpful when applying for jobs. I’m a bit biased because I like having extra credentials on my resume, but it definitely made me feel more confident sending out applications.

"Gets tough way too quickly"
I gave LearnSQL a try, but the exercises go from super easy to really confusing fast. There aren’t enough hints either, so I kept getting stuck and not really knowing what to do next. As a beginner, it felt more frustrating than helpful.

"Quick response, but I was still a bit lost"
They got back to me fast, which was nice, but the feedback itself didn’t really give me enough to go on. Maybe I missed something, but I was still left wondering what I was supposed to fix

"Not sure it really helped me move forward"
I don’t know, I was hoping it would help me make more progress, but it mostly just went over the basics again. I ended up getting stuck quickly, so it didn’t really do much for me

"Looks nice, but I expected a smoother experience"
The interface is clean and easy on the eyes, and I do like the overall layout. That said, a few of the menus feel cramped and not as smooth to use as I expected. For what I paid, I’d hope this gets improved soon, or at least that there’s some kind of compensation or credit offered for the inconvenience...

"Pretty good, just wish it covered more SQL versions"
The lessons are easy enough to follow, and for the basics it does the job, I guess. I just kept running into this thing where I wanted more examples for different SQL dialects, like when you switch databases and suddenly the little details are different. So yeah, overall it’s fine, just maybe not as helpful once you’re moving between systems

"I signed up thinking it would be..."
I signed up thinking it would be beginner-friendly, but i got confused quicker than I expected. I’m not saying I tried every single lesson or feature, so maybe I missed some helpful parts, but the early stuff didn’t feel as clear as I needed.
The lessons seemed to move into new concepts without enough explanation, at least for me. I kept getting stuck on small details, and while a few hints were useful, they didn’t always help me understand what I was actually doing wrong.
It might be totally fine if you already know a little SQL, so I don’t want to make it sound like it’s bad for everyone. But as someone starting from basically zero, I just ended up frustrated and eventually switched to something simpler.

"Helpful practice, but clarity matters"
I liked that there were plenty of hands-on tasks because that’s how I learn best. Still, some of the explanations felt a bit rushed or unclear at times. I think when people are trying to learn, it’s only fair to give them enough guidance so they don’t feel stuck or left behind

"The assessments felt off"
The quizzes were not great. A lot of the questions felt unclear. The grading system was confusing too. I never really knew how my score was being figured out

"Felt like the lessons were rushing ahead"
I had a hard time keeping up because the lessons seemed to move on way too quickly. It felt like they’d jump to the next thing before I really had a chance to understand the last part. Maybe they’re trying to cover too much in a short amount of time, but it just left me feeling lost
